I'm surprised to see all the negative reviews about KOHO Financial! I've been with KOHO for about three years, and I can confidently say it's the best financial institution I've encountered. When I first started with KOHO, they were associated with VISA, but since switching to MasterCard, the improvements in their services and features have been remarkable. KOHO offers unique features such as the ability to lock your credit card via the app and a second virtual credit card for online shopping. Additionally, they provide $100 in coverage to avoid unpleasant situations and offer credit-building opportunities for just a few dollars per month. The customer service is excellent as well. Overall, KOHO stands out as one of the top financial companies in Canada.

I got a Koho referral from a friend and absolutely love it! You get cash back on grocery and gas purchases for free, with no monthly membership fee. I've never had any issues with Koho. They're also great at adding new features based on user suggestions. My favorite feature is being able to lock both my virtual and physical cards. This gives me peace of mind, knowing that I won't have to worry about subscriptions withdrawing unexpectedly or potential fraud — my card stays locked when not in use. It's a fantastic security feature. I highly recommend Koho!

I've been using Koho for almost two years and I'm very satisfied with it. I use it as my personal wallet for expenses, while my main bank account handles family and life expenses. It's easy to set up and use; the Savings Goals feature works wonderfully for saving money in the background. I always use the digital card for online purchases, and I've never encountered any security or fraud-related issues. While I won't use it as my main account, it's a great fit for personal expenses.

Excellent after a rocky start! After the bugs were worked out, I highly recommend this Visa card service. I’ve tried many online operations, and this company in Toronto is performing exceptionally well. The cashback is great, especially for USA dollar purchases, as the fees are reduced. Keep up the good work!

Koho is currently available for residents of the following countries:
CanadaNo matter where you are, at home or abroad, you can access your Koho account via the app, check your account balance, control your savings, get customer support, make payments and even freeze your debit card if needed. In addition, get real-time notifications every time you make a transaction, so there won’t be any surprises at the end of the month. No need to make appointments, stand in line and lose working hours to manage your finances.
Opening an account with Koho is simple, with no lengthy paperwork. Just download the app, prove your identity, top up your account and you’re ready to go. Koho doesn’t require a copy of your credit history to approve your account, meaning you can open an account and get approved in minutes.
Another main reason to use Koho is the low (or no!) fees. Koho has no physical branches, therefore they can offer lower fees than traditional banks – especially when it comes to ATM withdrawals, money exchange/transfer and payments abroad. For example, Koho offers zero fees on all transactions, including purchases made overseas!
Koho = borderless banking. Low/no exchange rates and low/no ATM withdrawal fees worldwide make traveling a whole lot easier (and cheaper) than with traditional banks- especially in the eurozone. And for added safety, freeze or unfreeze your debit card while you travel, directly in the app.
One of the frustrating things about traditional banks is the amount of documents, contracts and letters that are sent to your mailbox. With Koho everything you need is in the app and all communications are sent to your app or your email. Gone are the days of rummaging through piles of paper around your house – and protecting the environment is the cherry on top.
