I am not a dutch citizen and as soon as I moved to the Netherlands I needed a bank account to get settled. I didnt no many banks here so I went to ing first. they didnt wanna open an account bc I didnt have a work contract yet. And no other utility bill ect with my adress on it (to proof that i live where i live). i googled other banks and tried SNS Bank. they didnt except my German passport as an Identification. I had a bsn Number and even a work contract by then. so also a terrible bank. then I saw knab... no issues at all. super friendly customer service. ill stick with them as long as possible. they dont make your live harder.
