Because of that I am “forced” to posses multiple cards from different banks. I never needed the service. But my wife as a foreigner in Germany did need. There was a glitch in the KYC process that would only accept RFID based residence cards and she only possessed a paper based in her passport (problems at the Bundesdruckerei at the time). We had to wait over a month to get a solution. We persuaded them eventually to give us the possibility to use PostIdent - then it worked.”
